Our Founding
Henry Clawson founded the company in 2005 as Staff Source Employment. It started off as a staffing company, focused on placing temporary or permanent employees in our clients’ businesses based on their staffing needs.
Our Shift Into Payroll
Payroll was something we did, but only for our placed employees. Over the years it became clear to us that our clients needed a trusted partner to process the payroll for their entire business, so we evolved to make that a core part of our offerings.
From Payroll to Benefits
Benefits came along when we processed payrolls, but our big move into self-managed healthcare plans came in 2020. Healthcare premiums were out of control and our clients were being disproportionally affected by it, so we stepped in to create a solution that saves them time and money.
A Rebrand in 2025
To kick off 2025, we have rebranded as Staff Source PEO. This subtle, but important, change is more reflective of what we have evolved into in an effort to better serve our customers’ ever changing needs.
